Pair an iPad once. After that, staff open today’s plans on it with their PIN instead of typing a code. Every paired iPad shows the same list, and typing a code still works on any iPad.

Practice Name

Patients see it at the top of the iPad screen and on the plan they sign. Changing it never changes your office code.

It comes from your practice name, and no other practice has the same one. Renaming your practice never changes it, so your iPad address stays the same.

Chrome will ask what to share. Pick your practice software's window — it can be behind TreatPath, it just can't be minimized. TreatPath takes one still picture of it and you draw a box around the treatment plan. Nothing is recorded or streamed; sharing ends the moment the picture is taken.

Open the treatment plan in your practice software on this Mac. Leave that window open — it can sit behind TreatPath, just not minimized.
Click Continue. Chrome shows Choose what to share.
Choose the Window tab, click your practice software's window (e.g. Dentrix), then Share. (Plan on a second monitor? Entire Screen → that monitor works too. Never Chrome Tab — that only sees Chrome.)
First time only: macOS may say Chrome needs Screen Recording. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen & System Audio Recording (called Screen Recording before macOS Sequoia), switch on Google Chrome, then quit and reopen Chrome and try again.
That window appears dimmed in TreatPath. Drag a box around the plan's table (tooth, code, description, fees) and the header with the patient's name and chart number if it's on screen — Step 1 then fills itself in. Release — that's the capture.

Two different roles, and they're often two different people. Signed in is whoever is using the planner right now — their staff ID travels with everything done this session, for the practice's records. Presenter is whoever will actually present this plan to the patient — that's who the plan is credited to in your Team analytics. It starts empty on purpose: pick the actual presenter each time, so the credit is never a guess.
