Adjusted Case Acceptance
i
Dollar-weighted acceptance rate. Numerator: the accepted value of every signed plan, at whichever tier the patient chose. Denominator: the full Complete Care (highest tier) value of every plan presented, signed or not — the total treatment diagnosed. Both sides are gross treatment fees before insurance. Unlike the plan-count Acceptance rate above, this shows how many of the diagnosed dollars actually get accepted — including when a patient signs a smaller tier than was recommended.

Hi! I can walk you through anything in TreatPath — scanning a plan, getting it onto the iPad, what the tiers mean, settings, or fixing something that's not working. What can I help with? (Please don't include patient names or details.)
How discount codes work
How to make a code and use it
Set up a code once here and your team can use it on any plan during a presentation.
Patients never see a list of codes. Staff open the staff menu on the iPad and choose
Apply a discount code, and prices update on screen right away.
Making a code: three choices
1 · Code name
What staff type to use it, like COMPLETECARE or FAMILY10.
Names are always uppercase, and no two codes can share a name.
2 · Applies to: what gets the discount
Entire planTakes the discount off the total, whichever option the patient picks. Good for offers like a loyalty discount or a promotion.
Specific tierDiscounts one option only. Staff tap which option when they apply it, so you can lower the price of Complete Care and leave the others alone.
ProcedureTakes a dollar amount off one procedure. Staff tap which one when they apply it. Procedure codes are always a dollar amount.
3 · Discount type & value
% Percentage takes that percent off (10 = 10% off).
$ Fixed amount takes that many dollars off (250 = $250 off).
A percentage grows with the size of the plan. A fixed amount stays the same.
Applying one during a presentation
On the iPad, tap ← Staff to open the staff menu and choose Apply a discount code.
Type the code name and press Enter.
For a tier or procedure code, tap which option or procedure it goes on.
Prices update right away. The old price shows crossed out, with a small tag naming the code. A plan can have more than one code, but each code only once.
Your codes are listed above the form, and you can remove one at any time. Plans already presented keep their discount.
Turning discount codes off hides Apply a discount code from the staff menu.

AI-written plan summaries
When this is on, each option on the patient’s screen starts with a short summary that AI writes for that plan, in the behavioral style you picked, with more detail when the patient taps in. When it’s off, the same cards use TreatPath’s standard descriptions and no summaries are written. Either way, the signing screen lists every procedure.
🔒 AI summaries are paused for now. Plans use the standard descriptions until they’re back.
Show financing to patients
Shows monthly payment amounts and APR on the patient’s screen. Turn it off if your practice doesn’t offer financing, and patients see totals only.
Financing terms shown to patients
The financing terms your practice really offers, in one short phrase (80 characters max). It replaces the standard APR wording on the patient’s financing bar. Blank means patients see 0% APR up to 24 months, so leave it blank only if that’s what you offer.
Default financing term
The number of months patients see first. They can change it.
Default financing provider
The financing company patients see first. They can switch to another.
Financing application link
Adds a "See if you qualify" link under the patient’s financing bar. CareCredit works with no setup. Cherry and Sunbit give each practice its own link, so paste yours here.
Connect
When Cherry is the selected provider, patients see Cherry’s real payment plans for your practice, with your terms and APRs, instead of our estimate. To show them first, set Cherry as the default provider above. To connect, open your Cherry portal, go to Settings → Custom Integrations, create a Business API Key and paste it here. We check it with Cherry before saving.
Not connected.
Show "Not covered" label
Shows a "Not covered" label on procedures insurance won’t pay for, like lab fees. The insurance math is the same either way.
Behavioral style on review links
When a patient opens a review link on their phone, it can use the same behavioral style you picked for their plan in the planner. Choose Standard to show every review link the same way.
🏥 Your practice
Your name and contact details, plus how TreatPath reads insurance, groups treatments and applies discounts.
Practice name
Patients see it at the top of the iPad screen and on the plan they sign. Changing it never changes your office code.
Contact details for patients
Printed on plans emailed to patients so they know who to contact, and
replies to those emails come to this address. Use your front desk’s details. Patients
can’t be emailed a copy of their plan until you add an email here.
Read insurance amounts from uploaded reports
When an uploaded report splits each procedure into Patient and Primary insurance amounts, TreatPath reads those amounts in. Staff check them before anything is applied. Turn this off only if you never want amounts read from reports.
Automatically bundle treatments
Groups procedures that belong to one treatment, like an implant with its graft, abutment and crown, so the patient accepts or removes them together. Automatic also uses AI to find groups the built-in rules miss. Rules only doesn’t use AI and groups only same-tooth work and lab fees. Either way, staff can Unbundle or Undo on the review screen.
Discount codes
Codes your team can use during a presentation. A code can take a percent or dollar amount off the whole plan or one tier, or a dollar amount off one procedure. When this is on, staff find Apply a discount code in the staff menu on the iPad.

👥 Your team
Who works here, their PINs and their roles.
Team
Everyone at your practice. Each person gets a 4-digit staff ID and shows up in the planner’s presenter list.
Staff IDs show next to each name, and anyone in the office can see them. They aren’t used to sign in. Each person signs in with their own private 6-digit PIN (see User Profiles below). The access log records who was signed in, and the Team tab credits each plan to its presenter. The patient’s screen shows the presenter’s name in small print. The roster can’t be turned off, because it’s the list PINs sign in against.
ALWAYS ON
Team members
Signed-rate goal thresholds
Sets when a presenter’s signed rate shows green, yellow or red on the Team tab.
User Profiles
Each person signs in with their own 6-digit PIN. This is always on. Their 4-digit staff ID is public, but only they know their PIN, so the access log shows who really did what. After 20 minutes with no activity, the screen goes back to the PIN prompt. Admins add and remove people, reset PINs and choose other admins.
Who's the first admin?
Usually the doctor or office manager. They can make others admin afterwards.
Profiles
If every admin forgets their PIN, go to the PIN screen, tap a name, then Reset this PIN using the office login. It’s recorded in the access log.
iPads
Pair an iPad once. After that, staff open today’s plans on it with their PIN instead of typing a code. Every paired iPad shows the same list, and typing a code still works on any iPad.
On the iPad, tap Pair this iPad under the code box and enter
AI presenter suggestion
Adds a ✦ button next to the presenter list in the planner. Once presenters have at least 5 plans each, AI suggests who should present a case, based on the patient’s behavioral style and the type of case.
